I’m back again after a prolonged absence due to my having exceeded my storage allowance on wordpress, as well as being busy working on my new improved site, whilst also eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new canon 5d mark iii.
So after deleting and resizing a few old photographs on my blog, and having wrestled myself away from my computer for a few hours in order to enjoy my last few weeks of shooting with my old trusty canon 450d. I came across this nice little riverside scene at dusk over the Corrib…

Here’s a nice little shot that I came across in my archives of the sun setting behind the cliffs overlooking Galway Bay.
I’ve named this photo after Bob Dylan’s opening track-All the tired horses in the sun on the album Self Portrait. An album that was panned critically but one that I still think has some some cracking tracks.

Here’s one of my favourite shots that I’ve taken of Salthill from a few years ago when they used to put the big wheel up with the rest of the amusements overlooking the seaside. When the sun was going down there was always some great shots to be taken over the bay when it was still there, but alas now it’s no longer part of the funfair, which is a bit of a shame really. However, it does lend my photo some added resonance as an archival document of times past, so no complaints really.
