Here’s a photo of a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean that was taken in Salthill. I like the texture of the sand in the foreground, and the depth of the blue colour that pervades the shot. Thanks also to Nadine and her friend for providing me with my new watermark.

This photo was taken down the road from Bearna on an ambitous cycle that I took to Spiddal in Co. Galway. The light’s not as great as I’d have liked, and I’d also have preffered to change the angle to a lower persepective, but I was constrained by a ditch and a stone wall that meant I couldn’t leave the roadside. Nonetheless, I think it’s a decent enough image with some interest added by the outline of the tree shaped by the force of the Atalantic winds.
